In addition, Ubuntu comes with the launcher, which reminds me with the dock in MAC OS. The launcher includes shortcuts to your favorite applications and utilities. When you click on the Ubuntu icon present on the top left corner of your screen you be easily able to access and search your applications in a fast and cool way!
This version of Ubuntu comes with the long-waited feature of multiple desktops work-spaces which allows you to work with up to four virtual spaces.
Installing and setting Ubuntu 11 is simple; it can be installed using multiple ways. From using a USB stick to a Windows installer!
A 32-bit and 64 bit is available for Ubuntu. The same version runs on both a desktop and laptop computer.
